Books I've Read

It's amazing how much reading one can do when there's no TV to watch, and when you're on a plane every other weekend, even if the plane ride is just an hour long. I've never been a very quick reader, but since coming to Africa, I feel like I've read a lot.

Thought it would be fun to keep track of which books I've read, especially since I've got a kindle now to encourage more reading...

  1. Banker to the Poor - Yunus ****
  2. Confessions of a Shopaholic - Kinsella **
  3. Girl With a Dragon Tattoo - Larsson *****
  4. Girl Who Played with Fire - Larsson *****
  5. Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest - Larsson *****
  6. Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister - Maguire ***
  7. Over a Thousand Hills I Walk with You - Jansen ***
  8. Tokyo Vice - Adelstein ****
  9. The Hunger Games - Collins *****
  10. Catching Fire - Collins *****
  11. Mockingjay - Collins ***
  12. Have a Little Faith - Albom **
  13. The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind - Kamkwambe ***

Added some high level ratings. Keep in mind that these are books that I finished reading, so I at least found all of them good enough to finish. Here's a rough approximation of what the stars mean.

  • ***** - Couldn't put the book down. In most cases, finished in a day or two
  • **** - Really good, and would recommend to anyone
  • *** - Ok, but had slow parts or something was missing
  • ** - Fills a specific niche, and is alright for specific occasions
  • * - Not sure what compelled me to finish reading this book

Let me know if you want further explanations on any of my ratings! =)
